I've always been drawn to the elegance of simple design.

As a young Cramerling, I spent hours copying and sketching cartoons from the Sunday Funnies ( yes, actual newspapers ). I was amazed that a few simple drawings paired with a witty punchline could evoke such a powerful, humorous response. They made me smile, kept my attention, and had me coming back every Sunday. Little did I know that something so seemingly simple would shape my approach to all things design.

From my early days of simple sketches, we've come a long way and I’m fascinated by where we've landed as a design industry. Todays clients are savvy, direct, and incredibly knowledgeable—they can see right through the fluff and I love that. As a result, our work demands simplicity with products and UX solutions that are thoroughly researched, tested and proven with underlying complexities going utterly unnoticed by the user.

The formula can be surprisingly simple:

When great ideas are wrapped in an exceptional customer experience, your product might just sell itself. That’s the truth. After 23 years in the industry, I’ve learned what works, "over-caffeined" my way through countless challenges and remain incredibly passionate about nurturing thoughtfully crafted ideas from conception to completion. Whether it's product design, reinventing a web presence or refreshing your brand's identity, I like to say that I still draw for a living and it continues to be a true privilege.
